Fred D. Sisk is a retired cartographer and former member of staff at the Defense Mapping Agency, a company that produces maps for the U.S. Department of Defense. Mr. Sisk, an expert on aerial photographic interpretation, specializes in identifying features in aerial photos and elucidating them on maps. In his former capacity, Mr. Sisk was primarily responsible for carrying out hand-drawn cartography initiatives, as well as facilitating traditional drafting with computers and graphics software, in order to swiftly and efficiently create maps for the government organization. After data had been collected, Mr. Sisk distinguished traits and characteristics in the photographs and produced maps that have been proven as effective and useful in several industries.
With a genuine passion for learning, and charting a path to success for himself in the field of cartography, Mr. Sisk earned a Master of Science in cartography from George Mason University. He has amassed a wealth of experience throughout his career, which has spanned more than three decades, and he continues to strive for success in his endeavors.
