Ethics Policy

The Knox County Trustee's office hereby adopts the following ethics policies:

1. No member of the Trustee's family shall be employed by the Trustee's office.
2. The Trustee shall not hire any Knox County elected official.
3. The Trustee's office shall be a "drug free" work place.
4. No harrassment of any kind will be tolerated. The Trustee adopts an open-door policy for discussion of any issues dealing with harassment.
5. Political activity by any employee must be done on employee's own time. No county resources shall be spent on such activity.
6. The Trustee adopts in full the ethics policy promulgated by Knox County, Tennessee.
7. Those ethics policies adopted in the Employee Handbook shall remain in full force and effect.
